Hospice Progress
Fundy Hospice will be established in Cornwallis Park on 6.63 acres generously donated by the Annapolis Basin Conference Centre.
The initial design of the Fundy Hospice was completed in June 2022 by Jost + Architects of Annapolis Royal.
The initial design provides for construction of Fundy hospice as a 5-bed facility, with the capacity to expand the facility to 10 beds as needed. The property also provides space for other healthcare related facilities, such as a Long-Term Care facility.
The hospice designs uses elements of our region’s nautical heritage in the entrance design.
The initial design provides for 5 patient rooms with private patios that open to a dedicated green space.
